Corn On the Cob

Need I say more
yum yum

Kyle and I spent the day with my nieces Rebekah and Bailey. Allison absolutely loves her cousins. We took them to lunch at red robin in Bellevue and then to the ice skating rink. Kyle and Bailey ice skated while Rebekah, Allison and I played at the park. It was a cold day but a fun time with family. On Friday night we had dinner with my parents. Allison was chowing down her food. She even asked for a bite of Rebekah's corn on the cob. Allison loved it so much that Rebekah lost her corn for the night.

Busy Days

You would think that since Kyle is on vacation I would have time to blog, nope. I am still recovering from a bad cold. I am going on 2 weeks now. Each day is better though. Since Kyle has been home we have not done much. On Tuesday night we went to my friend Tamara's house and exchanged kid gifts with the Van Liews and Sargent's. We had a great time. Allison loved playing with Chloe, Keith, Gibson and Grady. Allison and I spend much of our time with The Van Liews and Sargent's.

Making Hats

I came home last night to this wonderful picture of Kyle and Allison. They had fun making paper hats. Dad tried to suprise me with the picture on the computer and he then threw away the evidence. I loved the picture and asked dad to pull them out so we can play with them. They are two of a kind.

Stole my heart

This past week Kyle and Allison got a 24 hour stomach flue. Right now I have a very bad head cold. I took care of my two loves and by Saturday i was exhausted and thought I too was going to have the flu. The good thing I just think my body was exhausted taking care of the two that it needed time to rest. With all the sickness Kyle and I missed his work party. I was bummed out but thankful we didn't miss our couples study on Friday. We took Allison and all the couple brought there kids and they just played. It was so much fun to watch them all play together. On Sunday we celebrated my sisters 40Th birthday. When we got home we were doing our routine with Allison to bed. As I said goodnight she said to kyle and I "pray" we pray with her every night and this night I was so tired I forgot. When she said that it stole my heart. I am just in awe of my child and what she does these days. I will never forget that moment. I pray that Kyle and I continue to show Christs love to Allison through our example. I know we fail at times but when i hear her say "pray" at age 17months that tells me I know we are doing something right.

Snow Day

Yep it snowed. Kyle and I took Allison out in the snow. Our friend Tamara let us barrow her daughters old snow suite. Allison did great until she had to put on boots. For some reason she does not like to wear boots. We only lasted outside for about 10 minutes. We had fun. All day she kept saying "know" which means "snow" and almost sounds like "no" which is her favorite word. We had fun staying home with her that day. We ended up not driving to a Christmas party so we could spend time as a family at home. It was a lot of fun.

Yep after this she was very unhappy and wanted to go home.

A night on the town

The day after thanksgiving Kyle took me out on the town. We had a great time. Allison stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Hutchison. We stayed the night at the Fairmont and then ate dinner at the Icon Grill. We had our second date at the Icon Grill so it was fun to go back and sit in the same seats. We then headed over to Jazz Alley. It was fun to be away from home. It felt like a little vacation. Seattle was so packed with people but we loved it.Us at the hotel
