A Day at the Pool

Since Caleb has not arrived yet, we decided it would be nice to go the the club and play in the outdoor pool. I have not worked out at the club since last summer when I lost the baby. This was such a nice day and I wanted to get Allison used to the pool again. She is not much of a swimmer but loves to play in the water. Today it took awhile for her to warm up to it but after awhile she enjoyed it. The pool was warm but the wind was cold. After we got out we shivered until we dried off and warmed up. After we had lunch Allison wanted to lay out in the sun for awhile. I think she will be a bathing queen rather then a swimmer. It was a great day to be outside. I just love this weather. I do not love being pregnant in this weather so I am praying Caleb will come soon.

40 weeks and 1 day

Today I had another Dr's appointment. They stripped my membranes and well I could barley handle the pressure. Nothing has happened so I am patiently awaiting the arrival of Caleb. I am trying so hard to be positive about it but I am not sleeping much since both my sciatic nerves in my back hurt. I also have no energy during the day so poor Allison gets my impatience. She is such a trooper I am way to blessed to have such a wonderful daughter as her. She continues to love on my when I cry and helps me when I can not get up. She will make a good mother one day. Anyways, we will keep you posted on Caleb. If he does not arrive by June 3rd we will be having a c-section then. I do not want one but at this point I am ready for any thing. Thank you for all your prayers and support. I guess my children just like to bake inside me a little longer then usual.

Our New Desk

Since we decided to have another child we had to figure out where to put our office. We have a lot of space that was not being used in the house so we decided to have a built in desk put in. This is something was something we had planned a year ago. We saved our money and here is our new desk. Thanks to our good friend Phil Van Liew we were able to get it in before the baby came. Kyle and I love it. We are no longer in different rooms while on the computer. We are going to add some more shelving in the future. I look forward to getting the desk more organized and cleaning up our messing down stairs room. Thank you Phil for helping and for Paula Mark designing it.

Hot Day

what a cutie

Flying to California

This past weekend we had some amazing weather. I ran errand's and Kyle took Allison for a bike ride. They headed out to Log Boom Park. Allison now enjoys going for rides in the trailer while daddy pulls her. She is growing up so fast. I remember the first time we put her in it she cried. Now she loves to bring book and her baby dolls with her. Later that day I put Allison in her bathing suite and we played out in her pool and blew bubbles. Oh how I love the sunshine.

Field Trip

baby goats

baby pigs

Today we spent the morning at Farrel-McWhirter Park in Redmond. Allison's class had a field trip. This was great park. They had hiking, animals to pet, a little park and a picnic area. The best part is we saw some new baby animals. Allison had a lot of fun.

Church Carnival

Our children's church puts on a yearly free carnival for the community. The weather was so nice that we decided to go and we invited ga ga and grandpa Hutchison. After my nice pedicure, I met them all at the church. Allison had already played some games and won candy and cup cakes. After a free lunch we headed out to do some more games. Allison loved winning toys and candy. We never give her much candy but when she gets it boy does she love it. She was on a sugar high that day. They had blow up things to jump on, face painting, make your own art work, wax hand, animal balloons and so much more. We enjoy going every year. This year was special because gauge gauge and grandpa came. After the carnival we headed home thinking Allison would take a nap, nope she was ready to play. She had a quiet time in her room but with Daddy home that did not last long. We then celebrated our neighbor Grace's first birthday. Allison was so excited to give her a present. I hope they will grow up being good friends one day.

38 Weeks

I am now 38 weeks and nothing has changed. I am still dilated at 1cm and my cervix is soft so that is a good sign. I read my journal from when I had Allison and at this point nothing was going on with her so I am very hopeful. Kyle has finished painting the room and I am washing clothes and getting Caleb's room organized. Life is going to be very busy real soon so I am trying to enjoy my alone time with Allison. I will keep you all updated.

Riding a BIke

Allison can officially ride a bike. This weekend she asked to ride her bike. The first day was tough because she kept falling but then she would get up and try again. Today Kyle fixed her training wheels and away she went. She asks every day if she could ride her bike but because I am pregnant I just can not bend over to help her. Today she can do it all by herself. I am so proud of you sweetie. You have determination just like your daddy. Keep up the good work.

My Husband

I just want to say thank you to Kyle. He is such a trooper to be married to me. I am so thankful God gave one of us patience in this family. Thank you honey for dealing with Allison's temper tantrums at night and being so consistent in getting her to bed. The Super nanny thing does work. I know Allison will get it soon and we will be able to have some nights together. I am glad she is getting through some things before Caleb arrives. I do hope you will be able to finish Caleb's room, but dont worry too much. (coming from the wife that is worried, ha) Thank you for coming home after a long day at work and cooking dinner the last 2 nights. You are an amazing husband and I love you. I pray for you each night knowing God will get you through this time and strengthen you in your gifts with your job. Thank you for taking care of us and loving us even during the times we seem so unlovable. I do promise you will have your wife back one day. I love you with all my heart and appreciate every thing you do for us. Your loving wife.

36 Weeks

I am 36 weeks and baby Caleb is doing fine. We had an appointment today. The Dr's did an ultra sound to see how big Caleb might be on his due date May 28th. I really want to do a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section) and the Drs wanted to check his measurements. They said he could be around 8-9lbs. The Doctors said that about Allison too and she ended up being 10lbs 6oz. The great news is I have not gained a lot of weight with this pregnancy so the dr's could be right no this time. Kyle and I decided to try for the VBAC and if i do not go into natural labor we will do a c-section again, up to June 3rd. They can not induce me for a VBAC because that can cause harm to tearing inside me and more complications. Please pray that my body will do what it is suppose to do. I will be 5 days over at that time and I am praying Caleb will come earlier. The great thing is I am already dilated at a 1 but that can last until i go into labor. I am going to do every thing I can to get this baby moving. :) We just ask you keep us all in your prayers at this time, thank you.
