Summer is over. On this raining day i stayed inside with the kids. I believe we went to the library and that was it. When daddy got home I asked Kyle to take them out for about 10 Min's. Now that Caleb is walking he wants to be outside a lot more. They had fun jumping in the puddles and Caleb sad on the drain and made a dam with his bum. He had so much fun. I put his summer hat on him because he does not have a rain coat yet. :) It was a great day.

First Day of Pre-K
Allison started pre-k at the end of August. The first day went really well. She got very excited to see all her friends. After that it went down hill. I couldn't figure it out. She loved school so much last year. She even wanted to go back to school after two days of summer. I was very sad because I know she enjoyed it so much last year. She is still adjusting to a new teacher this year and in a new class room. I know she does pretty well with change but I guess not when school changes. I hope guess this is preparing me for when she is in JR High and High school.

Big Pile of dirt
What should we do tonight? Play in the big dirt pile. I was so excited to let the kids help us out with the front yard. They enjoyed playing in the dirt and getting really dirty. I am such a clean mom on this day we just had to do it. It was so much fun. Caleb was not too sure about it but he got in on some of the fun.

Walking
Sorry I have not been on my blog lately. With a walking boy now I have no time. Yep Caleb started to walk at 14 1/2 months. I still loves to crawl though. He knows he is faster at crawling. He loves to walk to. Especially when we are outside. He just laughs every step he takes. He is growing up too fast

JHS 20th Reunion
Is it true? I have been out of High School for 20 years? Yes it is true. On Friday night I celebrated my 20 year reunion with many old friends at Maggiano's in Bellevue. I had the best time. It was fun to catch up and hang out. I saw friends that I had not seen or spoke to in 20 years. Many of these people I celebrated with I knew in grade school and Jr High. I can not explain how much fun I had. I met a few of my still good friends at the Westin and then we headed over to the Pearl where we ran into many more JHS classmates. After a few minutes of hugging we all headed over to the reunion.

A night in Seattle
Our Nice King Bed.
This was an Italian coffee place. It was OK.
Yahoo, Soccer. Love it.
Outside the Stadium.
At our seats. We were so close.
Yahoo, I finally got to go to a Sounders game. If you know me, you know I love soccer. I have played most of my life and in the last two years I have played indoor in the Fall. I used to go to the Sounders games way before they got this big. It was such a great night. Kyle and I won the tickets at a auction. We got the all inclusive seats. Basically you get to eat and drink all you want. No Alcohol though. When we got the tickets we decided to make it a date night. We ended up staying in a nice hotel down town and then walking to the stadium. Before the game we dropped the kids off at Grandma Hutchison's house and then checked into the hotel. We took a nice nap and then headed out to get some coffee before the game. It was such a great night. I had so much fun cheering the Sounders on. One of the high lights for us is we met the Goalie of the other teams family. He was actually from Seattle. I felt bad when the people booed him. That's life though. Anyways, the sounder's won 2-0. Kyle and then headed back into town. We stopped at an Irish pub so Kyle could have some good beer. Then back home to bed. We slept pretty good. IT was nice sleeping in after a late night. We then headed around pike place market and decided to buy dinner for home. I love having wild fish and fresh veggies for dinner. Kyle cooked us up an amazing trout dinner.
We are so blessed to have family it town to take care of our kids. I look forward to another night away in the future.
