Happy Birthday Jesus

Allison first thing Christmas morning.

Another baby doll

A camera which she loves to use.

This year I enjoyed Christmas a lot. First because Allison was learning it was about Jesus birth, then because we had Christmas at our house so we got to stay home all day and last because we had both families over for dinner. The snow prevented us from doing a lot but I was so excited to have our families over. Next year we wont be hosting Christmas dinner but It was a joy to do it this year.

Once again Allison got spoiled by Mommy, Daddy and Santa. She got her pink ball, a camera, clothes and so much more. She loved opening up presents. When my family arrived she got another elmoe, an easel and another baby. I don't think little girls can have enough babies. Its like shoes for the young. After opening all the presents we had a great dinner and then for dessert we sang "Happy birthday to Jesus." Kyle and I want to remind Allison that Christmas is not all about Santa and presents but most of all about "JESUS." I hope we do a good job at it.

Christmas Eve

Allison's way of saying cheese

We had a great time on Christmas eve. We started around 430pm at our church, then headed home to eat some chili and open presents. Allison got spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Hutchison and Uncle Chad and Aunt Sandra. She was so into opening presents this year. I had a great time watching her. She got some great presents like a leap frog book, a American Bitty Baby and this cute night gown. As soon as she opened the night gown she stripped her clothes off and put it on. It came with a nice robe too. I think I will have to find some pink fuzzy slippers to go with it. Thank you all for the great gifts. Most of all thank you for loving on our family.

Hiding tissues

How is it that kids can say the funniest thing to make you laugh? The other night I gave Allison some tissues for her nose. I said you can use this in the middle of the night if your nose starts to run. I also left her extra ones on her dresser. The next morning when she woke up I wiped her nose and gave her an extra one to carry around. All of a sudden I saw her stuffing it in her pants. I said Allison, "what are you doing? The tissue is for your nose." Allison said, " Mommy, I am hiding it in my bumb." I cracked up so hard I had tears in my eyes. When I took her night pull up off I found the rest of her tissues in her diaper. She must of been saving them for later. I was wondering why her diaper seemed so big. Once again Allison surprises me with her creativity. I love you bug.

Stole My heart

Today Kyle, Allison and I decided to venture out to Walgreen's by our house. It was cold and the snow covered our boots. I had run out of my prescription a few days ago and they just filled it today. Anyways, we got to the top of the driveway to Walgreen's and I told Kyle I got stuck here last night with the car and then it happened, I fell hard down on the snow. I landed on my right arm really hard. I got up crying because it hurt so bad. I felt like I might of broke it but thankfully I didn't. I kept crying and I could not stop. Kyle hugged me and Allison said, "its OK to cry mommy, I cry like that sometimes too." OK, that made me cry more. How sweet her heart is for her own mom. Being pregnant, falling and then having your little one say those sweet words to me, it stole my heart for the day. Especially after feeling like a bad mom the last few days because Allison has been very defiant. I am so grateful for these little moments. I did not want to forget it. I am doing fine after the fall. I am a little sore and my head hurts a little but I am doing well.

Winter Wonderland

Oh how I loved playing in the snow as a child. Now Allison gets to enjoy it. Kyle and I can do without being cooped up in the house all day, but Allison does enjoy getting out in the snow. We played at our park down the street and Allison made a snow angle and slid down the slide. She wanted to build another snowman but it was getting cold so we came inside for some hot coco and marsh mellows. Allison has never had coco or marsh mellows so this was a nice treat.

I enjoy the snow right after it falls. It is so peaceful and quiet. Its fresh and soft. I wish we had sleds so we can sled down our hill. Allison has been asking to sled down with all the big kids. Maybe later when we can get out on the main roads. Its hard to tell her we can not go and buy one at her age. She has a little break down not understanding why we can not just drive to the store and buy one. Maybe we will use a garbage bag like I did when I was little. Have a wonderful Day.

Let it snow

Our first snow of the year. Right before Church on Sunday Allison wanted to go out in the snow. Kyle took her outside and she loved it. I am so glad I got her a snow outfit, we are defiantly getting some use out of it. Anyways, she asked daddy to build a snowman. We had to get to church so this is what Kyle built her. I had to laugh. The snowman was the perfect size for her though.

Cookie Time

Most of you know I am not much of a baker. This year I wanted to make cookies with Allison. We made chocolate snow balls and the starbucks cranberry bars, yum yum. Being pregnant I can not seem to get enough. We had a great time.

Christmas Party

Finally Kyle and I got out for another date. We usually try to go out once a month. I know some people do either every other week or every week. We love hanging out as a family so we like to do a lot of family stuff. Plus Kyle works all day and wants to hang out with us. Anyways, Friday we dropped Allison off and Grandma and Grandpa Hutchison's. Kyle and I then headed out to the space needle for his work party. It was a nice night to get out and be together. Allison stayed at Grandmas so we got to sleep in the next day. Allison had fun with Grandma too. They ventured over to GG's house (great grandmas) and had hot dogs, road a train, made crafts and saw Santa.
