Going Camping
I wont be able to blog this week. Kyle, Allison and I are heading out to enjoy the weather and camp with some good friends. I hope this years camping trip is just as good as last years. Allison did so good last year. I know how she loves the out doors so it will be tough to get her to take naps. She already fights us about not wanting to take naps, "no Allison nap." She always says that when we say nap time. Maybe she will want to learn to water ski this year or go on the big tube. Lets hope she gets a little adventures this year? The water will be cold so she may not like it but it will be fun. I also hope we can get daddy up on ski's as well. I wake-boarded last year and loved it. This year I wont be able to because of the pregnancy :( me sad. Have a happy 4Th to you all.
Another Hot Day
The birthday girl
Our fun family portrait

I love that Allison's birthday is in the summer. We get to plan fun stuff to do. This year we did not do a big party. Kyle and I had too much going on this month so I decided to make it low key. We celebrated at Red Robin. We had both our families there except our Aunts and Uncles could not make it. Allison enjoyed her birthday party and was even more excited to go home and open presents.
This year she was really into it. She got totally spoiled too. It was fun to watch her open each present. I think her favorite ones are her golf clubs, sand box and bike.
SO far she pl ayes with them the most. Here are a few pictures from the day. Thank you all for your wonderful gifts.

Happy Birthday Allison
Today we have enjoyed our time at a water park, breakfast on the couch and playing time with our cousins. I will have pictures later to show you all. I can hardly believe Allison is 2 today. Time is going by so fast. She is talking like crazy. I look forward when she pronounces the words a little more. She is very big and excited about today being her birthday. Pictures coming soon.

Moses Lake Weekend
This past weekend we headed over to eastern Washington for warmer weather. We decided to take a fun trip with friends the Van Liew and rent a condo. We started out on Thursday afternoon around nap time.
we have a routine with Allison in the car because she does not do well with long car rides. She gets to watch videos for an hr, then she has to take a nap. She usually takes about 30 min nap in the car but this time it was over an hr, yahoo. After her nap we sing songs and look at books. It takes up the whole 3 hours so that is nice. As we arrived at the condo we just unpacked and played outside. The kids went swimming in the pool while I went to visit my grandma. It was good to see her. I have not seen her since my grandpa's memorial in April. When I got home everyone was in their Pj's and ready for bed. I was ready for bed too.

This is us on the first morning. Chloe is my friend Tamara's daughter, she is laying up top on the couch. The kids just loved having story time at night and in the morning.
Friday afternoon we headed to town and played at the local Water park. It was so much fun. I grew up coming to Moses Lake all my life and going to the local swimming pool. Now they have a big water park. Being their brought a lot of memories from when I was little. They still have the old pool building there. I love walking down memory lane.

After the park we all decided to head home and enjoy a nap. We thought we had been at the park for about 3-4 hours and reality we had only been there 2 hours. That is how much fun you can have with little ones.

That night we enjoyed a good dinner and more time in the pool. The next day we decided to hang out at the condo and relax by the pool.
Chloe woke up sick so it was good to just hang low.
The Van Liew ended up leaving that night because Chloe was not getting any better. We were sad to say goodbye. We love vacationing with them. They are so laid back like us so its a lot of fun. Kyle and I enjoyed some time together and it was nice to not have to rush out the next morning. After we cleaned the condo we headed over to my grandma to say goodbye. She had made us lunch so we stayed and chatted for awhile. We hope to go back this summer to see my grandma and have more fun at the water park.

I will have more pictures later.

It is confirmend

We Are Pregnant. Most of you know that Kyle and I have been trying and well I am a lot like my sister, very fertile. We also wanted to make sure we told family before I posted this info. Anyways, we took two tests just to confirm it and we are pregnant. We are very excited. I'm a little nervous to have two little ones running around but I know God will help me through it all. So far I am doing good and no sickness which has been huge for me. When I was pregnant with Allison I got sick right away. I won't hold my breath though. We are not trying to prepare Allison for the new baby. I really hope she loves her new baby brother or sister. Please pray that this pregnancy goes well with no complications. We will keep you posted.

A day with Friends
How cute is this little Girl? I can not get enough of her.
Monday morning we woke up to an amazing weather. I was so excited to have sun shine again. We decided to cancel our indoor plans and head over to our friends the Van Liew's. We got to play outside and eat lunch outside. We had a good time. Here are a few funny pictures of our day.

Happy Daddy Day
Saturday morning we woke up and headed out to the Zoo. Kyle wanted to go hiking but he was not feeling well so he decided to do the zoo. We had a great time. Allison enjoyed seeing a lot of the animals. I think her favorite ones were the Gorillas. A year ago she enjoyed watching them.
This is Allison when she was about 8 months at the zoo. After the zoo we came home and took a nap. Lets say mom tried to take a nap and Allison talked, sang and screamed in her bed. For some reason she did not want to take a nap. Later that night we went to Uncle Chads house and had a BBQ. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed spending time with the families. Allison had fun playing with the golf clubs and sitting with Grandma.
Allison was very tired so we headed home a little early to get to bed.

Allison was very tired so we headed home a little early to get to bed. Sunday Morning Daddies Day we made breakfast and waffles for daddy. We then headed to church where kyle won a gift card to best buy. The message was very important to dad about how to raise your children. We need to keep lifting them up and teaching them to believe in themselves. After church we headed to the mall for lunch. It was such a wonderful day I did not want to miss the sunshine. The funny part is while I was sitting outside eating with my daughter this guy kept staring at me, I mean staring at me. It almost gave me the creeps until I saw his wife walk buy and realized who it was. IT was my old friend from the College Group at Overlake Todd Auckland. It was so good to see them. It was fun to laugh with Todd and his wife Colleen about the old days. Man, time just flys buy. Anyways, once again Allison decided she did not want to take a nap. We still keep her in her room for about an 1hr 1/2. I was exhausted from the day and Allison not napping for two days. So around 5pm we headed to my parents house to celebrate with my dad. Most of you know my Dad has always been my best friend until I met Kyle. I love hanging out with my dad and he enjoys watching Allison. We played out in the yard with my nieces new dog Kai. Allison loves to say "no Kai" we all just crack up. It was a fun weekend filled with a great time with both families. Kyle and I are so blessed to have such great families. I could not ask for any thing more then I already have.

Childrens Museum
Today we decided to meet my friend Christie and the boys at the Everett Children's Museum. We have been told it is an amazing place to go but we never made it there. With the weather not being very good these days we headed out to the museum today. Allison had a blast. When we first walked in she wasn't sure about the place. Allison is a girl who takes every thing in very slow. She has to warm up to the place before she heads out to explore. We walked around and found our friends Aidan and Skylar in the water area.
Allison and Aidan her buddy were having so much fun squirting the water. Aidan kept getting Allison all wet. She loved it though.

After playing in the water we decided to check the rest of the place out. We ended up in the little farm area. It had a horse to sit on, ducks that laid eggs (balls) a tractor to sit on and even a cow to milk (the old fashion way) Allison was all about milking the cow. I told her that my dad, her papa used to milk cows this way when he was a little boy on the farm in Montana. She thought it was funny to milk.

Aidan and Skylar riding the tractor.
After much play inside we decided to go upstairs to the outside play area. The sun was finally coming out so we did not want to waste the day away. Allison was so funny she wanted to keep digging for dinosaur bones but she kept wanting to dig in the place that had nothing there.

She even climbed up to the tallest yellow slide all by herself and went down it.
You have to know my daughter. This is huge for her. She always wants mommy to go and do things with her, so for her to go by herself was a big deal for mom. Today was a day spend with much laughter. We headed home and took a long nap. When daddy got home we decided to enjoy the sun being out so we went to downtown Mill Creek and had dinner and walked around. We don't get a lot of family time together during the week because Kyle or I are passing each other in the night as soon as he gets home. Today was a fun day and I hope now that we have decreased our schedules a little we will have more family time.

Emerald Downs

We are ready to gamble

Im so serious about this. Kyle took this w/out me knowing it.
Friday night Kyle's work had an outing for employees and spouse. We went to Emerald Downs in the pouring rain. I was excited to go on a date with my husband but not excited about standing outside to watch horses raise. I even told Kyle I was not going to bid on the races and that he can use my voucher. Well, we had a great time. I had more fun than I thought. The great part is they served us dinner, drinks and gave us a $10 voucher to bid with. Kyle and I also used $20 of our own money as well. When the racing started I guess I changed my mind on bidding, because on the first race my horse came in 2ND. After 7 races my winnings ended up coming out even.
My winning horse.Yep, Kyle did not win any races. (another thing I am better at then he is) hee hee. I'm not much of a gambler, I actually hate it. I'd rather win money then lose it. Horse racing changed my mind on having a little fun with money. It was a fun date, thank you Microsoft and Kyle for the fun date.
And they're off. This was a shot of the last race. Kyles horse was in first, then mine and all of a sudden 2 horses past ours and we lost. We would of won some good money. Fun times.

Faith

One of my biggest struggles as a parent is trying to find time to read the word and draw closer to God. My best friend Amy always tells me not to be so hard on myself. I desire to have a deep relationship with the Lord. The hard part is balancing my time with all that I do. I am busy raising Allison, cooking, cleaning, laundry, spending time with my husband and friends and family. I do try to make time for the Lord but in today's society I have seen how we can fill our schedules from the time we get up to the time we go to bed. My goal this past year is to make time for the Lord even if its just reading one sentence in the Bible. My friend Amy reminds me as a mother life becomes very demanding and God understands that. She says it is OK to be where I am at and in time I will be able to spend more time with the Lord. Because I am a people pleaser I want to please God a lot more when I don't spend a lot of time with HIM I get very hard on myself. This is all new to me so I pray I will have faith and believe that the Lord does understand me.
I recently just finish a study and my leader gave me a little devotional book. What I do right now is sit with Allison in her room and read it out loud while she playes. I love it because one I am getting some encouragement from the Lord and Allison is also hearing and seeing me read the word. As I write today I'm writing because one of the questions stumped me. It Asked, "Am I willing to ask God to become my full partner in my life?" WOW! Full partner, what does that mean? I don't feel like I have allowed HIM to be my full partner. What I do know is that I pray every day to him and try my hardest to depend on HIM. I fall short a lot of the times but I am so grateful for a God who has given me Grace. I came upon a verse that confirmed my faith in HIM, Heb 11:6 It is impossible to please God apart from Faith. And WHY? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him." One thing I know is that I will always seek God even when I lack faith. I also know that I can not breathe without HIM in my life.
My prayer today:
Dear Lord, help me to be a woman of Faith. Help me to remember that you are always near and that You can overcome any challenge. With Your love and Your power, Lord, I can live courageously and faithfully today and every day. AMEN.

Daddy's Day

The Birthday Boy sitting at the BIG TABLE
We had a great time celebrating kyles birthday yesterday. Even though it rained for the whole day Allison and I got to spoil daddy. First we cooked him breakfast and gave him his presents. We wanted to go on a hike but due to the rain daddy chose to go to the Pacific Science center. We had fun playing around and seeing the butterfly's.
The cutest part is when Allison saw the bees and I said they are making honey. She said to Kyle, Pooh honey. She loves Winne the pooh and she knows pooh bear loves honey. After a little fun at the science center we headed over to Zeke's Pizza, yummy. After lunch we decided to head home for Allison's nap. She was a little cranky because the night before she got woke up a few times. She fell asleep on the way home and when I put her down to take a nap she did not want to go back to sleep. I was exhausted and Kyle went shopping. After nap time we met Grandma and Grandpa Hutchison for a yummy dinner and Macaroni Grill. It was a great day for us to spoil daddy.
