Suncadia Resort

Happy birthday Grandma Nancy. This weekend the Hutchison's headed up to Cle Elum to Suncadia resort. We got there early on Saturday and spent the day getting checked in and enjoying our surroundings. We celebrated Nancy's 60th birthday at the restaurant.

After eating some amazing food we spent time by the pool. Caleb and I watched for awhile before I headed back to our room to feed him and put him to bed. Swimming has been a challenge for Allison since she quit swimming. She has a hard time and fears losing control. We bought her water wings and she had a ball. She swam to the end of the pool with them on. She loves to swim now.

Our first night was great. The next morning we all had breakfast together. The food is so good at the restaurant. After breakfast the women headed to the spa for facials. It was nice to have a relaxing time with Sandra and Nancy. Kyle took the kids swimming with Chad and Grandpa Bob watched from the covered deck. Allison continued to swim all day. After our wonderful facials we met the men at the pool. I got to enjoy some time with Allison in the pool as well. We had fun swimming around with the noodles and just goofing off. I am really enjoying Allison when I have time to be with her by myself. It is hard when I have both of them on me. Allison is such a sweet girl and just wants mommy's attention all the time. When she can get it she totally soaks it all up. The best part about being in the pool with Allison is I did not have to breast feed on a hot day. I pumped some milk for Caleb earlier so that freed up my time. Gotta love having a pump. Sunday night Bob and Nancy had Allison stay in their room. Kyle, Caleb and I sat down stairs, outside and watched the sun go down. Kyle and I enjoyed some wine and had a nice talk.

Monday Morning we all awoke and packed up to head home. After we checked out we decided we did not want to come home to the heated house. We ended up heading to the pool one last time. Allison was a water bug the whole time. Kyle and Grandma even went down the water slides. It was a fun day but a sad day because we had to go home.

We arrived home to a heated house, yuk. Kyle and I had to clean out our downstairs bedroom because I was not going to sleep upstairs with Caleb in the heat. Caleb and I camped downstairs by ourselves for 3 nights. It was fun for me because I got the bed all to myself. Allison and Kyle handled the heat just fine. Mom and Caleb on the other hand did not. We made the best of it though. I was ready to hitch the car back up to Suncadia

Funny Faces with Daddy

The other night Allison took a shower. She loves playing in the shower all by herself. Some times it is hard to get her out. Anyways, on this night her and Kyle were goofing off making funny faces. I just laughed when I found them on the computer. I had no idea they were having so much fun.

A day with our Friends

Garrison and Caleb enjoying the outdoors.

Today I took both kids over to our friends the Van Liews house. It was my first adventure out with both kids. I think we did pretty good together. The Sargeant's met us their too. April only had her two younger boys Grady and Garrison. Garrison and Caleb are a week apart and

about the same size. The boys are so cute. Keith and Allison had fun running around on the big blow up slide. Grady just hung out with his mom and I. Thanks Tamara for having us over. Next time lets run the water on the big slide.

Family Fun Day

Today we decided with the nice weather we needed to hit the club out door pool. We had not been their since Caleb was born. We arrive early so we can get a shaded area. We had a great time. We bought Allison some water wings so she would not be afraid of the water any more. She took lessons last year but has been afraid of going under water. Anyways, we had a great time. Kyle and I switched off taking care of Caleb while one of us swam with Allison. After a few hours we headed home for some down time. After rest Kyle decided to take Allison on a bike ride to a local park. Allison and Kyle had fun kicking the soccer ball around and playing on the toys. Caleb and I later met them at the Mill Creek town center for dinner. Having a day together was so much fun. Kyle survived his first week back at work and I survived mine with both kids. Sorry I had not pictures this time.

The Wiggles

We have our tickets.
The show just started
goofy picture of us

The wiggles and the red car
Tonight I took Allison on a date to see the Wiggles at the Comcast Arena in Everett. We had great seats. It was such a fun time for me to do something by myself with her. At first she wanted daddy to take her but I kept telling her it was our time. I made it special by buying her a little wand and some dipping dots. She was excited about too because we saw our friends Aiden and Skylar. Allison was so funny, she sat in her chair the whole time and she was so serious until the end. At the end I finally got her to stand up and dance with me. The wiggles did a great job entertaining everyone. They even come out in the audience and meet people. I look forward to having another date night with her in the future.

Pregnant with my kids

I thought I would show you all what I looked like pregnant with each of my kids. I was so huge with Allison. I can not believe how big I was. I am so glad I am not pregnant any more. Although I do miss them growing inside me and moving around. God truly amazes me how he has created each of my children.2 days before Allison was Born.

2 days before Caleb was born

Slept through the night.

I am so excited to say that Caleb slept 6 hours last night. We got home around 930 and I fed him an put him down at 10pm. He did not wake up until 4am this morning. I woke up at 3 to see if he was alive. I also had to pump. I am so excited I got some good sleep last night. I don't think it will happen again tonight but you never know. Good job Caleb. You probably slept good because sister was not around to wake you up.

My First Day

My first Day without Kyle. Wow! I am so glad I made it through. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. I am glad the Lord blessed me this time, by allowing Kyle to be home for 6 weeks. The Lord knew I would need him. Anyways, the morning went really well. I think the hardest part for me is finding time to shower between feeding Caleb, then Allison and then getting them ready for the day. I also had a hard time with Allison always wanting me to play while I was feeding Caleb. It breaks my heart to say not at this time. She is learning to be patient but it is hard for a 3 year old. I finally did a puzzle and played a game with her, but Allison wanted more of me. I am not sure how to break that all up.

Around 130 pm I got Caleb down and Allison in her room for a quiet time. The quiet time did not last long. Allison kept coming in and out of her room. Allison's door kept waking Caleb so he ended up sleeping on me for awhile. It made the afternoon long and a little tough with a whiny 3 year old. By the time Kyle got home Allison was doing a lot better. She now had a play mate to hang out with.

I do feel that my life is more hectic. I realized I can not multi task by talking on the phone, feeding a newborn and listen to a 3 year old talk to me. I really have to learn to take time out for myself as well. The good thing is Grandma takes Allison for a night so that helps me get some needed time to myself. We shall see how fall goes when Grandma has to go back to work to teach. I love my new life with my son and daughter. I just pray that I will survive.

Tummy Tub

what a cutie. He is so content.

This weekend Kyle's Aunt Shelley and Uncle Bart stopped by to drop off a present for Allison and Caleb. They bought Caleb the Tummy Tub. It is designed to be like the mothers womb. It is so funny looking. I guess it is huge in Europe and is now in America. Caleb loved it. He sat in it with no problem. I had a problem keeping his body submerged but he just let me do what I do best and that is give him a bath. It is a little hard to wash him. I see it more as a soaking tub for him. Allison loved giving him a bath.

Allison also got a gift. She got an alligator backpack and a stuffed tree stump with little stuffed animals sitting in it. She loves her back pack and she carries it with her everywhere. Thank you Bart and Shelley for loving on our kids again. We love the gifts you give them.

Visiting Great Grandma and Friends

On our way home from Wenatchee we decided to go to Moses Lake to visit my Grandma. We have not seen her in a year so it was a nice visit for her. Our friend Arlene and her girls were in town too. Arlene has a condo so we spent much of our time their when we were not visiting Grandma. The kids got to swim and play outside. I just put my feet in while taking care of Caleb. He really enjoys the outside.

Allison brought her bike camping so while we were at Arlene's Condo we pulled the bike out. Eva is still learning to ride so Allison had to get on her bike to show her how. It was very entertaining. Especially because Heidi kept wanting to wear the helmet.

Lincoln Rock Camping Trip

We are on our way. Allison is set up with the DVD player

The gang hanging out

Caleb laying out in the sun, not. He is totally shaded and enjoying the fresh air

Ready on the boat.

We arrived in Wenatchee on July 2nd. We love going camping with the Aldworth family. This year I decided that I would stay in a hotel with Caleb, while Allison and Kyle would camp with the Aldworths at Lincoln Rock. It worked out great. Every day we went out on the boat and tubed. Allison loved to go on the tube. I was a little nervous for her because I felt it was too fast and too choppy. She laughed the whole time and kept telling me that it was OK. I am so glad we went. This was our 3rd year going. We look forward to going each year with the kids. Allison enjoyed being outside until 11pm and up early. Caleb and I enjoyed it as well. Although we got to sleep in because it was nice and cool in the hotel. I love to camp but I may be growing out of tent camping.

Birthday Presents

Thank you all for coming to Allison's party. She had a great time opening her presents. She loved every single one. She wanted to play all night with them. It is nice for mommy too because she will play for hours with each gift. She is already thinking of sharing with Caleb too. What a sweet little sister. After a long day Allison totally passed out in her bed. Kids are so cute when they sleep.
