3 toughest things about being a woman

Last Thursday I started a bible study at church. We are doing Beth Moore - Esther, its tough being a woman. I was so excited to finally study a woman in the Bible. Don't get me wrong I love to study other characters and books, but as a woman I wanted to relate with one in the Bible. So far the first week is a little boring but I am so excited to learn more. Anyways, Beth Moore did a survey and asked woman all over what are the 3 hardest things about being a woman? I wrote mine down and it was so nice to know that their are other woman out there who can relate. Here are the top 3 Beth Moore came up with. I came up with the same. 1. Yielding/submitting(in your job, relationships and marriage). 2. Finding Balance (how do we get it all done?) and 3. Hormones.

I had to laugh at the 3 responses because I have felt this way for a long time. I find comfort knowing that I do not need to be perfect and that my God (my best friend) understands me more than anyone else. I look forward to this new year 2009 with a new baby. Life wont ever be easy but I am very thankful for a husband I can share my true self with and he does not judge me. When life seems too hard I will continue to pray until God gives me peace and I will continue to look at my daughter who will always make me laugh. It is tough being a woman but darn it we do ROCK and we do do it all. Hang in there ladies and look to a brighter new day.

Its A BOY

He looks like an old man here with a receding hair line. CUTE.

Sorry I have not been writing lately. Since Kyle went back to work last week I have been very busy. We did find out that we are having a Boy. We are in shock but getting excited. We do not have any names for him yet. Here are a few ultra sound pictures. They did a 3D one for me and I just cried. It is so amazing what they can do now.

Happy New Year 2009

Happy 2009

This year Kyle and I spent our new Years with the Van Liews and Sargeant in Downtown Seattle. Kyle and I rented a hotel room by the Space Needle and we all got gift cards at Costco to the Union Square Grill. The Van Liews and Sargeants met us at the hotel and we then headed to the monorail to westlake mall. The night was cold but at least it did not rain. We got to the restaurant and ordered some good food.

Kyle and Tamara had the cognac Dijon rib eye steak.

April and I had the black Cod
The food was amazing. Afterwards we headed back to the hotel. It was so nice to have a warm place to go to. We did stop in town to take a few shots by the star and Christmas tree. After arriving in the hotel we talked and played games. It was good to catch up with each other because lately we have all been busy with family and kids. We played the Trivia game and lets say Kyle and I are not good at it at all. Gregg and April Rock. Where do they learn all the random question? I have no clue.
We all made it until midnight to see the fireworks go off. I have never spent any of my new years in Downtown. Most of you know I am not a big new years person. This year I can say was the best ever.

OK, funny picture of Tamara and Myself. Its a long story but it felt good to laugh like that again. Tamara and I realized we have been friends for 14 years, WOW! That is a long time and I am very blessed to have her in my life. I am not sure about how long I have known April but it has been a long time. Kyle and I had a great New Years with you all. Lets do it again in 2 years.
