The girls, Maure, Amy, Tamara, myself and Elke.
My flowerless cake. It was so yummy. I shouldn't of had the ice cream though.
Kyle asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday this year. I said I wanted to have a girls night out. I have not celebrated my birthday with my girlfriends in a really long time. My best friend Amy put it together. We met at PF Chang's in Lynnwood. We had a great time chatting it up, drinking good wine and eating wonderful food. I love PF Chang's because they have gluten free menu. I had so much fun laughing. I only invited a few girls that I was close to. Some were not able to attend and they were missed. I truly appreciate my gals. They have been in my life through the good and the bad. I was so blessed to spend time with them without kids. Thank you for making my day so special.
Caleb loves to eat. He also loves to drop food and watch it fall to the floor. Not so funny for mom and dad who end up cleaning it up later! Lately though he has been storing food in his lap at dinner time which reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite and him storing his tater tots in his cargo pocket for later. Caleb stores his food on his right leg. Last night though he was hilarious with this. He moved some chicken from his tray to his leg. Mom spoke up and said, "No Caleb, let's eat the chicken." She pulled it from his lap and put it back on the tray. Then, he grabbed the same chicken and moved it to his mouth and pretended to eat it, but then slyly moved it to his lap again! Mom started cracking up! I missed it the first time, but a minute later he did the same move again this time grinning coyly. What a nut!!
