A day at the zoo

OK I am posting a lot of late activities we have done this summer. At the end of July the weather was cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon. On this day Allison, Caleb and I decided to meet my friend Moana and her two kids Ella and Carter at the zoo. We have not been at the zoo since last October. The weather was so cold in the morning that you could see my breath. Moana and I just laughed because it was July. We had a great time. Caleb thought it was so neat to see animals. He got upset every time we had to move to the next animal. Allison had fun running around with Ella and playing with Carter.

Here are the two goof balls.

OK mom, take the picture

Caleb hanging in the ergo

Caleb finally got to roam on the ground. He hates being confined. He wanted to crawl every where. I finally have gotten over getting upset about him crawling on the ground. He loves to get dirty and he crawls like a crab on the cement.

Playing inside at the zoomanium.

He loves music.

Play Date with Molly

Allison spent a day at Molly's house. The funny thing is they both had the same swim suite. They were twins. They spent their time on the slip and slide. :)
Funny faces with Molly.

Caleb loving the hose

This week Allison had her friend Molly over. She met her in preschool. Her mom and I
switch leaving the girls at each others house. Molly and Allison play really well together. They had a lot of fun playing at the park and in the backyard. After an hour in the back they spent time inside pretending they were camping. They had so much fun together. Caleb even had fun in the sun. He decided to play with the hose. It was fun to watch him.

Tamara's BIG Night Out

We celebrated Tamara's 40Th at Preservation Kitchen in Bothell. Its a 5 course meal with a different wine each meal. It was so much fun and some yummy food. Tamara invited her closets friends and family. She laughed, smiled, cried and was very merry. She told me it is one of her favorite birthdays. I am so happy we got to join you friend. I love you and thank you for having us be apart of this day.

Tamara's 40th Birthday

BEFORE TOES

After TOES

I made plans to take Tamara out for her 40Th birthday. I had her book her day with me. We made plans to have the our kids babysat so we could have a fun day. Tamara and I have been friends for about 16 years. I was so excited to surprise her on this day. The day before I had to spill the beans because Mrs Tamara wanted to get her toes done and wanted to make sure we were not getting one. So much for a surprise. hee hee. We had fun, I took her out to lunch to one of our favorite places in Mill Creek "Azuls" . We had a great time catching up and eating some yummy food. I then took us to the mall and got a Starbucks coffee and did some window shopping (without the kids) and then off to our appointment at Gene Juarez for a nice pedicure. We spent much of our time chatting and laughing. Gosh it's so fun to talk about all the fun years you have spent with a friend. I was so happy to make Tamara's 40th a wonderful day.

Calebs 1 Year appointment

I finally got Caleb into the Dr for his 1 year appointment. He was sick on his birthday and then we went camping and life just go in the way. I took him in and he got one shot. He did so good. He did not even cry. I am hoping that he is like his sister with shots. Caleb is doing well. He is saying for more words then most kids his age. He does the sign for more, milk, thank you and all done. He is now learning please. Caleb weighs 25lbs and is 32 1/2 inches long. He is crawling so fast. He continues to be a joyful boy and loves to be tickled and laugh. I can not believe how fast time is going.

Crazy Hair Day

Allison went to VBS at Grandma Hutchison's Church. One day they had crazy hair day. This is what she wanted me to do. She had so much fun.

Allison Riding her bike

During our camping trip Allison asked for daddy to take her training wheels and pedals off her bike. She wanted to learn to balance her bike and get used to which side she leans on the most. With a week at camping and a few more days at home without the training wheels and pedals Allison picked it up. She is now riding her two wheel bike. She totally loves it. She even falls and gets right back up. She is a tough little girl. I am so proud of her. She even had her friend Lleyton come over and he did not know how to ride a two wheeler. He saw Allison doing it and wanted to try. Allison told him what to do and Lleyton now rides his bike as well. We are so proud of our little girl. She is growing up so fast. Way to go Allison.
