Happy Halloween

Tinker Bell is getting ready for her Party

Excited about Halloween

I love this shot I took of Allison right before we went trick or treating

The Hutchison Family

Allison was not ready to put on a coat. She had so much fun running house to house.

Grandma Hutchison and tinker Bell
For the second year in a row we celebrated Halloween over at the Hutchison neighborhood. This is the same neighborhood that daddy grew up in. Allison spends much of her time at Grandmas during the summer and has made some good friends there. One of the neighbors Tracy and Greg invited us over to trick or treat and have dinner afterwards. It was a lot fun because they had some of the other neighbors and friends join. I think we were the first group out at 5:30. The kids just ran all around the neighborhood. It was fun to watch them run to each door and say trick or treat. We made it back home just as the rain started. We all huddled into Tracy and Greg's house for some good chili, corn bread, wine, beer and some yummy treats. Afterwards the Kyle and I headed home and Allison stayed the night at Grandmas house. It was a fun night. Thank you Tracy and Greg for hosting and inviting us to your yearly event.

5 Months

My Cute boy

Fun time with Sister
I can hardly believe my little guy is 5 months. He is growing up so fast and I can not seem to slow him down. Caleb continues to roll on his tummy and he gets frustrated when he can not turn back over. Some times I just let him get frustrated before I help him. He is such a great baby. I am truly blessed to have such two great kids. Caleb continues to grow and is not in 9 months clothes.

We recently took him to a natural path environmental MD Dr's appointment. I have been worried about him spitting up a lot and having a rash around his ears and face. The Dr. has me on a dairy free diet for 10 days to see if that helps. I have to say so far so good. Caleb does not spit up as much and his skin was already clearing up. I have also cut out nuts. Caleb is still breastfeed but I wanted to get this taken care of before we started solids. Caleb is doing well and the best part is when we put him down to sleep at night he stays asleep. This is great new because he kept waking up crying after we just put him down. It would take me about an hour to hush him to sleep.
Allison is doing great too. She loves school and is enjoying learning her letters. She is a good big sister too. She loves to make Caleb laugh and boy can she make him laugh. Caleb loves his big sister.

Fall Is Here

Bundled up and heading out for a nice walk.

I can hardly believe that the cold weather is here. Some days I really enjoy it but other days my bones ache. I believe I am getting old. Today I decided to take the kids for a walk. Allison had a hard time having a quiet time in her room and Caleb did not want to sleep more then an hour. I bundled the kiddos up and we headed out. It was nice and brisk outside. Allison enjoyed walking and throwing the leaves up and Caleb took a little nap. I love when I can get out and get some fresh air. It is so good for the kids. The hard part about living in Seattle in the Fall and Winter time is you are so couped up inside. I hope to use my time wisely and take more walks when it does not rain. After our nice walk we headed home to make Butternut Squash soup, yummy. My friend Tamara gave us the recipe. I made it gluten free for us and I hope next time I will make it gluten free and dairy free. It was a perfect day ended with a perfect meal for dinner.

A rainy day at the Zoo

Today I set out to meet Allison's class mates at the zoo. It was her first field trip with Cedar Park Preschool. I wanted Allison to walk but she was determined to ride in the stroller while I carried Caleb.

Caleb enjoying a little warmth and a snooze on mommy

Here we are in the zoomazium. It was a dry place for the kids to play. Allison enjoyed running around and playing on the big slide. As you can see her pants are a little wet so she went really, really slow on the slides. She had a great time

I finally got Allison to walk so I can put Caleb down. He did really well in the stroller.

Allison is in the same class as her friends Aiden and Skylar

Here is one of her friends Kalley. I guess they play together all the time.

Here is one of her new friends Abby. Allison had fun running around in the weather with them.
Going to the zoo in the rain was not so bad. There were not many animals out and we did not adventure around the whole zoo, but we had a lot of fun.

Bath Time

Most nights I am the one who gives Caleb a bath. After bath time I put Caleb in front of the mirror and he just gets so excited. He lights up my world.
