Rain, Rain go away mommy has to run a 5K today

Hanging out in the car before the big race

Its raining, its poring and daddie is snoring, mommy cant get up in the morning. 630am Sunday morning i had to get up for my 5k run. Some of you ask what is a 5k run? Its a 3 mile run. Getting up at 630am was very hard for me, especially when it was raining her in Seattle. Why must I ask did i get up for a 5k run? If it wasn't for a good cause i would of stayed in bed.

How did I get into running some of you ask? Well i used to play soccer and that is my kind of running. I recently wanted to try new things in my life, so I am starting a life time Goal list ( my friend Tamara inspired me on the list). This past year I had a few friends who have been doing tri-athalons and marathons. I am not much of a runner but I had a friend who told me about the Children's Hospital run. I signed up for it and started training for it in August. Yes, training for 3 miles was a must for me. I was deeply out of shape. I actually enjoy running. I only like to run with my music on so its not fun to run with me if you like to chat. I don't plan on doing any big marathons in the future. My old bones just wont take more then 3 miles. My next life time goal is to do a tri-athalon next summer. I really hope I can do it at 36 years old.

Whatch out future drivers of America, here comes Allie. Oh she loved playing in the car.

Allison and Kyle cheered me on during my run. It was so great to have them there as support. Allison enjoyed her first time playing out in the good old Seattle rain. She was way cute all wet.

And you may notice "Lead-foot" Dad is controlling the foot pedals, so yes, stay clear!

Great job on the race. It was fun to support you. Oh, and I have to apologize! I spaced and didn't take any pictures. Sorry!

Glad I could inspire you to do the race. Running 3 miles would KILL me! I'd also really like to see your Life List. Would you consider posting it?

Way to go, Terra! And Grandma got a chance to meet them all at Kirkland Pancake House after the run. Maybe I should think of running instead of eating pancakes!
