Our Camping Trip To Lincoln Rock

We have started a tradition with my best friend Amy and her family. We go camping each year to Lincoln Rock in Wenatchee. It is a lot of fun. This was Allison's second year and she still loves it. I think she enjoyed staying up late and sleeping next to mom and dad each night. We spent most of our time on the boat or at the park. I got to read a book and Kyle got time to do some puzzles he enjoys. Allison she was just excited to be outside all day in the sunshine. Yep, it was sunny every day. Next year I told Kyle we will rent a camper because we will have a little one with us. I hope I won't get too spoiled with that.

Allison asked to go tubing so we did. She had a lot of fun. Here we are cuddling after the tube ride.

Our second day at the beach was fun. Allison did not want to wear a swim suite. We left Kyle and the kids on the little beach while Amy and I took Kurt out on the boat to wake-board. Later that day Allison asked to go tubing again. I was all for it but then Kyle did not want to go. While I was out on the water with Allison i got a little nervous. I was scared that something might happen but thankfully it went well. She had a blast going out. I am so proud of her.

one good thing is Allison still took her naps while camping. We had our tent under a tree so it stayed a little cool. I took a nap with her each day too. Being 7 weeks pregnant and in the sun all day can ware me out.

Every day after spending time out on the boat we would head over to the park to play. We had a great time. Allison wanted to "wing" most of the time. They also had a little store so we got ice cream and Popsicles, yum yum.
