Too Busy To blog

Allison built her clay mountain

I am sorry to say that life has gotten in the way of blogging. We have been so busy with day to day stuff that I have had no time to catch everyone up on Allison and Caleb. First I will say that Caleb is growing like a weed. He is 30 inches long and ways about 19lbs. We have also started Caleb on some solids. I have decided to make my own baby food. So far I have just made sweet potatoes and butternut squash. He is a little slow on eating it but so far so good. Allison continues to learn in school. She comes home memorizing scripture and her letters. She loves coming home and pretending she is the teacher. She loves on Caleb a lot. She enjoys making him laugh a lot. I am busy working out once a week and playing soccer once a week. Kyle and I actually got to go on a date this past weekend with no kids. Usually when we go on a date we have at least one kid. It was a nice treat to get out with him. Kyle continues to excel in his job and he is very busy as a dad. Kyle does not get much down time to himself when he gets home from work. I am very thankful for him though. He is such a good dad and he loves to empower Allison's imagination. The other morning we woke up to a box car. The next morning he cut out a steering wheel for her car. She totally loves it. The other day during rest time I snuck in to watch her and she was trying to stuff all her babies, animals and herself in this little box car. Allison loves to play and I mean play all day long. We are all doing well and staying very healthy. Caleb has is second little cold and Allison is getting over her cold. We are looking forward to leaving in a few days to visit the Peterson's in Atlanta and then driving down to their beach house in Florida. I am so excited to have a vacation.
My old friend Jayson was in town. We got to meet up with him in Bellevue for a nice lunch. He wanted to go to Red Robin because they do not have them in Colorado. It was so good to catch up with him. It was great for him to meet my family. Now we just need to go to Colorado and meet his family. Its on our list to visit.
