Welcome to Craven Farms. This is our first trip to the wonderful pumpkin patch. We usually go to Stocker farms. This year I wanted to try a new place. We all loved it. It is free to get in. The farm had a huge play area for the kids. It had an old car, pirate ship, canoe and a tractor. Caleb is still feeling under the weather but he made sure he got some play time in. We first started out looking for the right pumpkin. Allison does not care what it looks like she would of picked the first one we walked by if mommy let her. Daddy on the other hand loves to look for the perfect pumpkin to carve. We headed through some corn stalks and found the bigger pumpkins. It was a great day to go searching. Daddy kept looking for the perfect one but then decided that he would just carve the kids pumpkins instead of getting himself one. We got some really good ones. As we headed back we decided to buy corn on the cob. Caleb loves corn on the cob. I think if I let my son eat only veggies he would. He loved it so much that he and daddy finished off Allison's as well. As the sun was going down, we decided to head over to see the little farm animals. Caleb got a little scared when the big duck honked at him. After that he kept asking the duck to honk at him more. We had a great family day.
We are ready to go
