What do moms do when they are sick? In my opinion we keep on going. There is no time for us to get sick. Last week I finally decided to see the Dr. and let him know I had an ear and sinus infection. He checked me and said yep, that is what it is. I tell you I should of been a Dr. I got on some medication and boy did it take awhile for it to kick in. I can now hear out of my left ear. Mom is on the mend of healing and all excited about getting out of the house this week.
No getting out this week. Allison woke up on Sunday morning throwing up. She caught a flu from her friend Eva. Dad stayed home on Sunday while I got the chance to go to church and see friends. I got home and Allison had been sleeping and heaving all morning. Allison dry heaved from 745am to 730pm. As a mom you can only imagine how hard it is to watch your child try to throw up? I actually broke into tears. I went to bed that night and Kyle came in around midnight with Allison. She woke up asking for Milk and "Wa Wa" (water). It breaks your heart to say no to her but we decided since she hadn't thrown up in 5 hours it might be ok. Yahoo, she did not throw up.
Monday seemend to be ok with a little fever all she asked for was more water. On Tuesday morning it was another story, Allison woke up early to my discuvery with poop all over her, yuk. My poor little one was so sick it just broke my heart. Kyle cleaned her up and we laid down together. She seemend to do well the rest of the day but man did I change a lot of runny diapers and did a lot of laundry. A mothers work is never done. The good thing is Allison finally slept through the night. I kept waking up to make sure she was doing ok. Today she woke up again covered in poop, it was grose. I put her in the shower with me and since then I really have not put her down much. All she wants to do is sleep in my arms or in her bed. I have never seen my little girl so sick. I look forward to seeing her laugh and smile again. Even though she is sick I have enjoyed my days with her. I get to hold her, cuddle her and pray over her. One day she actually asked me to pray. I let her know God loves her just as much as mommie and Daddie do. Lets hope next week is a lot better.

Poor baby! I hope Allie feels better very soon. That is so rough. I have throwup more than anything.
It's going around...John just told me Lori is home with Evan & Wyatt and they are both sick. Rob's scared and him and Christi have been keeping the boys away from everyone. I just hope it's near over for Allison. Love you!
hmm, that kinda sounds like Rotavirus, Sean had that once, it was pretty gross. Keep up the good work she will be well soon.
