Today has been one of those days. Those days where you just want to hide in your room and not come out. Where you wish you had a minute to go pee by yourself.
Since the weather has not been the best here in Washington, I decided to take Allison to the mall after her nap. Heres what happend. You know when kids cant get their way, then they throw themselves on the ground and look at you and then cry? At 14 months she knows what she is doing. We walked out of Pottery Barn and I put her down to run outside. For some reason Allison did not like that. She plopped herself right infront of the door way laid on the ground looked at all the people around and pretended to cry. As a new mom, what is that telling me? Does she want to go into pottery barn again or does she just want attention? How much attention can you give a child. I took her to the mall to play wasn't that enough?
I love my little girl. I think she may like to shop at a young age. In thought,I guess she wanted more. Oh, how they start young. I picked her up and then laughed with the crowd. You have to have these moments to appreciate yourself as a mom. Oh, how smart they are.

Enjoyed the story ... reminded me of a number of stories I've heard about me when I was little and how strong willed I was. Her daddy was a little sweet heart but he, too, could dig in his heels if he had a mind to. Glad to hear she likes to shop; Grandma Nancy does, too.
It is so great to hear the updates from you and your beautiful family. I know life is so busy but this is a treat for me. Dave and I might be buying a house and putting rots down in LA. Look forward to hearing and seeing more
