Love to Read

Most of you know that Allison does not let mom out of her sight. Even at home mom has another person at her feet all the time. Today was another story. I turned on some music in Allison room, she grabbed some books and sat in her chair for about 10 mins. She kept getting more books and stacking them on herself and she looked through them all. This was moms dream. Will she learn to play by herself now? Like I said it only lasted 10 mins. It was the best 10 mins I got to myself.

Come Build an Allison

Where is Allison? Allison is in this phase of stacking toys on other toys. Today i grabbed my camera. She was having so much fun putting all the toys in the box with her. After stacking her toys in with her she just wanted to hang out in the box. She is too cute.

Growing so fast

Today has been one of those days. Those days where you just want to hide in your room and not come out. Where you wish you had a minute to go pee by yourself.

Since the weather has not been the best here in Washington, I decided to take Allison to the mall after her nap. Heres what happend. You know when kids cant get their way, then they throw themselves on the ground and look at you and then cry? At 14 months she knows what she is doing. We walked out of Pottery Barn and I put her down to run outside. For some reason Allison did not like that. She plopped herself right infront of the door way laid on the ground looked at all the people around and pretended to cry. As a new mom, what is that telling me? Does she want to go into pottery barn again or does she just want attention? How much attention can you give a child. I took her to the mall to play wasn't that enough?
I love my little girl. I think she may like to shop at a young age. In thought,I guess she wanted more. Oh, how they start young. I picked her up and then laughed with the crowd. You have to have these moments to appreciate yourself as a mom. Oh, how smart they are.
