Most of you know that Allison does not let mom out of her sight. Even at home mom has another person at her feet all the time. Today was another story. I turned on some music in Allison room, she grabbed some books and sat in her chair for about 10 mins. She kept getting more books and stacking them on herself and she looked through them all. This was moms dream. Will she learn to play by herself now? Like I said it only lasted 10 mins. It was the best 10 mins I got to myself.

I encourage you to give her time everyday. She will learn to look forward to it, and I would be willing to bet that the 10 minutes will turn into 15, 20, 25, 30 minutes as time goes on... :)
I can attest to Allison's love of books . . . you cannot read to her too much . . . she loves it and I love to read to her as well.
